Enrollment & Re-Registration

Enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year is open!

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!

Registration for students in grades K-12 opens February 9, 2026. First day of school will be August 7, 2026.

To be eligible, all required documents must be submitted, students must currently be enrolled in school (or if during the summer must have successfully completed the prior year), and must be in good standing with grades, attendance and discipline. Do not withdraw your student from their current school until just prior to their approved start date. Also note that you must provide the required documents (upload within the application) before an application can be reviewed for approval – we do not request official records from schools until after a student is approved.

Required documents:

• Long Form Birth Certificate (or other documentation to verify birth records in special situations)
• Proof of Residence (e.g., driver’s license, current utility bill, lease, etc. showing physical address in legal guardian’s name)
• Report card from school currently attending (or grade report from PowerSchool)
• Current transcript for middle/high school students showing Carnegie units earned
• Detailed Attendance Report (showing reasons for absences such as excused, unexcused, medical, etc.)
• Detailed Discipline Report (even if no events)
• Home School Affiliation Letter (if applicable)
• Immunizations – Make sure your child is up to date with all recommended vaccines (contact SC Department of Public Health regarding waiver information). Rising 7th graders need updated immunization showing Tdap vaccine.
• Individual Education Plan (IEP) – if existing, must be submitted to SCVCS office within 10 business days
• 504 Plan – if existing, must be submitted to SCVCS office within 10 business days

In addition to current proof of residency and parent ID, rising 7th graders will need updated immunization showing Tdap vaccine.
