- Total number of graduates = 271
- 1 Senior graduated with both their High School Diploma as well as with an Associate Degree in Art from USC Lancaster
- 69% of the graduating class will be enrolling in advance training and have earned over $4.9 million in scholarships
- 3% of the graduating class will be enrolling in the military
- 28% of the graduating class will be entering the workforce

Referring a friend to attend SCVCS
Current and newly approved students are offered the chance to refer friends to attend our school. The more friends you refer, the more referral points you collect to win a prize! The 1st student referral equals one entry, a 2nd student referral equals 5 additional entries, and a 3rd student referral equals 10 additional entries! If you refer three friends you would have 16 chances entered to win!
- Parents of your friend will complete an online enrollment application for the student and submit (with required enrollment documents) no later than August 14, 2024.
- The application asks “How Did You Hear About SCVCS” and they should select “Referred by a Friend” and enter the current student’s name who referred them.
- Siblings do not count as a referral.
- You and the student you referred must remain enrolled at least for the full semester and be in good standing for you to be eligible for a prize.
Prizes! Prizes! Prizes!
- Referral points will be calculated after the completion of the first semester.
- The drawing will be held live January 5 (time to be announced) and winners will be notified by phone and email.
- Limit one prize per household.
Graduation 2024

Commencement exercises for the SCVCS class of 2024 will take place on Thursday, May 30th at 3:00pm at the Koger Center for the Arts.
SCVCS Earns Recognition at Statewide Academic Showcase
COLUMBIA, SC – South Carolina Virtual Charter School (SCVCS) was recognized for their outstanding academic performance in the 2022-2023 school year at the Charter Institute at Erskine’s Academic Showcase on Friday, November 3, 2023.
SCVCS’ High School earned a Bronze School of Distinction award for outperforming the local school district in Algebra 1, English 2, and Biology 1 in the 2022-2023 school year. They also saw an increase in the percent of students scoring a ‘C’ or higher in Algebra, Biology, and US History. Finally, SCVCS’ High School has increased its graduation rate by 8.5% from 2022 to 2023.
“We are humbled to be honored for these achievements. Erskine has done a great job of professional development for our staff, and it has been a huge gamechanger for us,” said SCVCS Chief Executive Director, Dr. Cherry Daniel.
At the showcase, charter schools from around the state were celebrated for their academic achievement and outstanding growth. SCVCS was one of 14 schools recognized at the event and was asked to present their strategies for academic growth with their peers.
